The top honor at the June 8 prize-giving event is given to the 'Mine' hitmaker after she beats Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Sugarland in the final battle.

AceShowbiz - Closing the celebration night of 2011 CMT Music Awards on June 8, just before the live duet between Jason Aldean and Ludacris, was the winner announcement of Video of the Year. And the top honor was presented to Taylor Swift who unfortunately couldn't be there because she's in the middle of her tour and is currently in Milwaukee.

Taylor appeared on the nominee longlist along with the likes of Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band. However, only she, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Sugarland who made it to the final battle.

The rest of the winners, in addition to the early winners, are Trey Fanjoy, The Band Perry and Blake Shelton. Trey won Video Director of the Year, Band Perry got Nationwide Is on Your Side Award, and Blake grabbed Best Web Video of the Year. That was Perry and Blake's second win. They previously won Breakthrough Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year respectively.
