Lining-up for different categories of the coveted awards are NBC's "30 Rock" AMC's "Mad Men", Bravo's "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" and Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report".

"30 Rock" has been receiving the nod in the category of comedy series, enlisted alongside two of HBO's comedies, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Entourage", NBC's "The Office" and Showtime's "Weeds". Meanwhile, "Mad Men" is vying for the drama series trophy, contending against FX's "Damages", Showtime's "Dexter" and two of ABC's dramas "Boston Legal" and "Lost".

On the category of Non-Fiction TV, "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" will have to compete with Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch", PBS' "Frontline", CBS' "60 Minutes" and Showtime's "This American Life". Last but not least, "The Colbert Report" is nominated for live entertainment/competition prize with CBS' "The Amazing Race" HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher" and Bravo's two reality series, "Project Runway" and "Top Chef".

Nominations for features and longform television will be announced on January 5 along with the individual producers in all categories. The 20th Annual Producers Guild Awards itself will be held on January 24 at the Hollywood Palladium.
