Singer-actress Mandy Moore and rock band Army of Anyone have become the first ever artists to sign with a new record label which management company The Firm is starting up.

The new record label's releases will be distributed by EMI Music in the U.S. and licensed for international territories.

As for Mandy, the beauty has collaborated with such artists as the Counting Crows' Adam Duritz, Michelle Branch, Lori McKenna, Chantal Kreviazuk and Rachael Yamagata for the as-yet-untitled set, her first studio album since 2003's "Coverage".

While Mandy is eyeing a 2007 release for the album, Army of Anyone's debut album is expected to be out before the end of the year.
