In this offbeat Western comedy from director Frank Coraci, Adam Sandler stars as Tommy, a lovable but lazy outlaw who discovers he is the long-lost son of a legendary Native American chief. Raised by his white father, Tommy learns he has five half-brothers, each more ridiculous than the last, including a dim-witted giant played by Taylor Lautner, a fast-talking con man portrayed by Rob Schneider, and a gentle giant brought to life by Jorge Garcia. When a ruthless outlaw gang kidnaps their father, the six misfit brothers must reluctantly band together for a rescue mission across the Wild West. Along the way, they encounter a parade of colorful characters, including a saloon owner played by Steve Buscemi, a grizzled bounty hunter portrayed by Nick Nolte, and a no-nonsense lawman played by Luke Wilson. Blending slapstick humor with a surprisingly heartfelt story about family and belonging, the film balances its irreverent gags with moments of genuine drama. With a sprawling ensemble cast that also includes Terry Crews, Blake Shelton, and Whitney Cummings, this 119-minute romp offers a deliberately over-the-top take on the Western genre that aims to entertain through sheer absurdity and star power.
