Aspiring photographer Nat, played by Tony Revolori, embarks on a meticulously planned cross-country road trip to start art school in Los Angeles, but his journey takes a wildly unexpected detour when he picks up the chaotic and charismatic mechanic, Richard, portrayed by Jason Mantzoukas. What begins as a simple ride soon spirals into a series of misadventures as the freewheeling Richard, a self-proclaimed expert in "real life," decides to show the sheltered Nat the unscripted America he's been missing. Directed by Hannah Fidell, this offbeat comedy charts the turbulent and often hilarious friendship that forms between two polar opposites as they encounter a cast of eccentric characters, including Grace Gummer and Taissa Farmiga, on the open highway.
