Selena Gomez not only got to perform her latest single "Come & Get It" at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards held on Saturday, April 27 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, but she also walked away with the trophy for Best Female Artist. The 20-year-old entertainer's on-again-off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber, also won as her counterpart, bagging the Best Male Artist award.

British-Irish boyband One Direction was the only awardee to get two trophies during the ceremony, earning the Best Music Group award as well as the recognition for having the Fiercest Fans. Bieber's zealous supporters, the Beliebers were also heavily favored for the said title but turned out the Directioners were just too many to overcome.

Another romantic connection also came about as Taylor Swift, the former flame of 1D's Harry Styles, won an award, the Song of the Year trophy for "I Knew You Were Trouble". Ironically, the said break-up anthem written by the young country/pop superstar was inspired by no other than ex-boyfriend Styles himself.

Other acts recognized by the Radio Disney Music Awards this year were pop singer Austin Mahone (Best Viral Artist), child performer Coco Jones (Funniest Celebrity Take for "Sandwich Rap"), Disney princess Olivia Holt (Best Crush Song for "Had Me @ Hello"), Disney-bred star Bridgit Mendler (Best Acoustic Performance for "Ready or Not") and teen heartthrob Ross Lynch (Best Music Video for "Heard It on the Radio").
