Ariel (Mathew Baynton) sends a ransom video of Spike, Scotty's (Kyle Soller) nephew, to get access to the bunker, but when Gaines (Paterson Joseph) shows up for a gunfight, Scotty knocks Ariel unconscious and stuffs him in the truck of a car. Ariel escapes somehow.
While investigating a healer in Naples, Celine (Gaia Scodellaro) reveals she grew up homeless after her mother abandoned her. Celine and Jude's (Rob Lowe) investigation inspires them to think about what they want out of their remaining short lives on Earth.
Rhonda (Jenna Fischer) and Leanne (Megan Mullally) arrive at Leanne's compound to find Leanne's family plans to turn Rhonda in for a reward. Leanne helps Rhonda sneak out.
Dave (Joel Fry), Jamie (Mathew Baynton) and his mother Mary break into Ariel's house, where Mary reveals she thinks Jamie is the son of God, and Dave unwittingly initiates the house's self-destruct sequence.
