Season 6 begins immediately following the events of the shocking Season 5 cliffhanger that left Mike behind bars. After signing a plea deal to spare his colleagues at Pearson Specter Litt, Mike will be confronted with the harsh realities of prison life as he starts his two-year sentence.

In the premiere episode, Mike transitions to prison life while Harvey, Jessica, Louis, Donna and Rachel deal with the fallout of Mike's plea deal and try to prevent what's left of PSL from collapsing.

MIKE'S INTRO TO PRISON

Head shaved, stripped, showered, and sporting prison blues, Mike falls back on the one thing that can give him comfort and a sense of control: his mind. But he soon finds that he doesn't have all the answers. As the prison counselor points out, this ain't no Shawshank. If Mike is going to find redemption, he's going to have to drop his assumptions and take a long, hard look at himself.

THE FIRM FRACTURES

With the partners gone, Jessica, Louis, and Harvey scramble to find a way to right the ship, but they are soon slapped with a multi-million dollar lawsuit for every case Mike has ever touched. When their attempt to turn the tables fails before it can even get off the ground, and their careful planning devolves into name calling and blame laying, Harvey walks out with no intention of looking back and leaves Jessica to wonder if she really has what it takes to resurrect the firm she has sacrificed so much to build. Is this the end for Pearson, Specter, Litt?

PEARSON, SPECTER AND LITT MEND FENCES

Talked out of giving up by Donna, Harvey apologizes to Jessica for walking out. The only way to move forward will be with a unified front. Harvey and Jessica get Louis high, and the three of them open up and bury the hatchet over Chinese delivery. Their soul baring soon leads to understanding and forgiveness, and puts the managing partners on solid ground in anticipation of the coming war.

MIKE MEETS HIS NEW ROOMMATE

Escorted to his cell and told not to leave, Mike warily shakes hands with his new cellmate, one Frank Gallo. Mike is on his guard, but when Frank shares his life story, Mike decides to open up, too. Frank even offers to let Mike text Rachel on his contraband cell phone, putting Mike at ease. But his comfort is short lived -- it turns out that Frank, if that is his real name, was put away by Harvey 13 years ago and has been dreaming about revenge ever since. And now, he sees his opportunity. It's then that Mike truly realizes that he's all alone, and completely vulnerable.

THE FIGHT IS FAR FROM OVER

The name partners may be back on the same page, but PSL is still under siege. An attempted hack into the firm's system reveals that the recently-departed partners are bifurcating the firm and trying to take back their buy-in money. Louis hits on the brilliant idea to use the partners' buy-ins to settle the class action suit against PSL, which means the former partners won't be able to touch the money. It's a brilliant plan of action, giving the team a fighting chance. For now, that is...
