With his heart aching over Zoe a little more than he'd care to admit, Harvey comes into the office to find more bad news waiting for him: Trent Devon, a major client on the verge of taking his tech firm public, is thinking of leaving. It seems that word on the street is that Pearson Hardman is weak after their battle with Hardman, and the up-and-coming firm of Bratton Gould, under the new guidance of Allison Holt, is coming after clients and associates.
Already stewing over his aborted attempt at hiring his own associate, Louis unloads his frustration on Harold and fires him in a final public humiliation. At the same time, Harvey goes on the offensive to shore up his client base, but it's clear that he's taking the attacks on the firm a little too personally. And when he mistakenly assumes Louis has betrayed Pearson Hardman, he unleashes a tirade that may settle the score with his in-house nemesis, but will only serve to tear down the ailing firm even further.
Meanwhile, Mike tries to make up for his recent mistakes by finding a way to keep Trent Devon from leaving. But one of Mike's mistakes isn't done with him yet, and when it finally catches up to him it won't be pretty.
