Andy's sales numbers have been coming in low, so he decides to hold a seminar on small business inside the conference room, in an effort to protect himself from being fired for his poor performance. He's hoping that his seminar will bring in prospective paper buyers, but it backfires when none of his students seems to have legit business ideas.

Erin and Gabe have an online Scrabble tournament going. The winner of every game gets to choose the movie for movie night. Erin has never won a match, so Oscar and Pam step in to help her out.

Andy still needs co-workers to help him open his seminar. He calls on Ryan, Creed and Kevin for help when Stanley, Phyllis and Jim back out. The potential small business owners all listen to Kevin's inspirational speech. Kevin's excitement gets the best of him, and he becomes winded, not impressing any of Andy's students. Kelly takes over for Ryan's portion of the meeting, calling herself "The Business Bitch." Surprisingly, Kelly impresses Andy.

Michael is elated to learn Holly is now single, calling it one of the best days of his life. Holly and Michael are back to their old antics, playing an old Greek couple around the office. They even attend Andy's seminar together.

After Dwight talks to one of Andy's students, he notices that some of the people attending Andy's seminar are bright business owners. He, Stanley and Phyllis decide they want to join as speakers again. Darryl warns Andy that the three are only after sales and don't care for Andy's seminar. Andy declines their help.

Oscar and Pam are having fun, helping Erin beat Gabe at Scrabble. When they let Erin choose the last word to win the game, she winds up losing it all. Later on, Pam confronts Jim. Why did he back out of Andy's small business seminar? Jim admits one of his childhood friends is in the seminar, and they have a feud dating back to elementary school.

After Andy's seminar comes to an end, Michael takes him aside and tells him to start selling to his students. He accuses Andy of being too kind; he has to start thinking like a salesman. A confident Andy comes back and closes his seminar. People actually want to buy into his small business package plan. Kevin and Kelly proudly watch as Andy receives applause from his students.
