Roy paced in the parking lot outside Dunder-Mifflin and then charged the building looking for Jim. When he spots Jim and rushed him, only to get pepper sprayed in the eyes by Dwight, who managed to spray everybody around him, as well.

Roy was terminated following the incident and Dwight was looked upon as a hero. Angela enjoyed listening to Oscar describe the story of Jim being attacked and Dwight's valiant move with pepper spray.

Michael was using different negotiation tactics on Darryl, who was asking for a raise. Michael went down a list of tactics he learned from the internet. Darryl stopped the negotiation to point out that Michael was wearing a lady's suit. Everybody in the office took notice to Michael's feminine suit.

Pam was in the break room and Jim walked in. She apologized for almost getting him killed by Roy. Pam declared that it was completely over between her and Roy, but Jim wasn't convinced at all. She wanted to reiterate that she was very sorry for how things turned out.

Darryl was asking for a ten percent raise and Michael kept denying him saying he couldn't have Darryl making more money than him. Darryl couldn't believe how little Michael made for how long he had been with the company. Darryl wanted to convince Michael to get his own raise.

Michael finally got the nerve to call Jan up and ask for a raise. She wanted to speak with him in person and wanted him to bring Toby along for the ride. He thought it was a terrible idea and wanted to bring Darryl so he brought both men.

Michael was waiting for his meeting with Jan and noticed the woman sitting next to him had a familiar looking suit on. Michael and Toby got called into Jan's office for a meeting by her young assistant.

Roy stopped by to pick up his last paycheck. He spotted Jim and wanted to issue and apology for his behavior. After, he asked Pam out for coffee to try to explain his actions. At coffee, she told him that they should both be sorry for a lot of things and denied she was going to date Jim, because he had a girlfriend.

Jim was dumbfounded as to how he could repay Dwight back for his bravery in saving him from Roy. He made a certificate of bravery and left it on Dwight's desk. Dwight was convinced that the Scranton Police Department really gave it to him. Then Dwight realized it was same certificate given to little kids, and threw it away.

Michael got Jan alone and divulged all of his insecurities about how much money he made. She felt sorry for him and offered him up a 12 percent raise, just as long as it was recorded he had asked for 15 percent. Michael felt like he was the master of negotiation.
