The Office Episode 2.13 The Secret

Michael comes in and wants to know what Pam and Jim are laughing about. Jim tells him a joke and Michael tries to repeat it around the office, but butchers it every time.

It's spring cleaning day, even though it's January. Michael says that this way, when spring comes, there will be no cleaning to do.

Dwight gives out cleaning duties to all the employees but notices that Oscar is out sick - on a Friday. Dwight tells on him and Michael calls Oscar at home to make sure he's not faking.

Dwight thinks Oscar is faking and wants to know if he can investigate. Michael gives him the go ahead.

Jim asks Michael not to say anything about the booze cruise and him having a crush on Pam. Michael thinks he and Jim are better friends because Jim hasn't told anyone else about his secret crush.

Dwight calls Oscar at home to try and see if he's really sick. Dwight says there are a few ways to detect if someone is lying: no eye contact, and perspiration, for example. Unfortunately, he only talks to Oscar on the phone.

Because of their new friendship, Michael takes Jim to lunch - at Hooters. Michael asks Jim what he likes most about Pam. He says she has a great personality and sense of humor. Michael says he likes her boobs.

Dwight gives Michael an update and Michael tells him to simply go to Oscar's house and find out if he's sick or not.
