Christine decides to tell her therapist, Max Kershaw, that she loves him; however, she's humiliated when he tells her he doesn't love her back. When she gets to her car, she discovers she has flat tire and struggles to fix it herself. Max offers to help, but Christine doesn't want to be around him because she's still embarrassed. Finally she agrees and notices when he bends over to change the tire that he's wearing a thong. Instantly, she falls out of love with him and tells him why. He tries to explain that he's wearing a male thong, or "mong", as a favor to his sister who is trying to market the product. As they laugh over this, Max kisses Christine. Turns out, he likes her too. She fires him as her therapist and they decide to start dating.
Richard pushes Matthew to go after a woman who's been flirting with him. When Matthew finally decides to go for it, the meanie moms show up for a playdate, so Matthew takes the girl to Christine's house. Their make-out session ends abruptly when she notices Matthew is wearing a "mong".
