The CBI investigates the murder of a geologist whose body was found in an abandoned housing project two months after his death. Lisbon is immediately drawn to the case, because the geologist went missing right after recording a video deposition accusing billionaire Tommy Volker of a massacre in the Amazon. If Lisbon can tie the murder to Tommy, she can finally get her man. Jane finds a toy car at the crime scene, making him think that a little boy may have witnessed the killing. While he starts a search for the kid, Lisbon has to decide how far she'll go to take down Tommy.
