West Ham and Tottenham met at Upton Park in another crucial game at the top of the table, while title contenders Leicester City and Arsenal had home matches against West Brom and Swansea respectively. At the bottom of the table, struggling Aston Villa took on Everton, Newcastle travelled to Stoke and Sunderland welcomed Crystal Palace to the Stadium of Light.
