Synopsis

Richard, Kahlan, Zedd, and Cara arrive at a D'Haran death camp. The tear in the veil allows the dead to come back to the world as Banelings in exchange for killing for the Keeper. As well, young Hoodlum accidentally becomes the key to the Stone of Tears. He is killed but before he is brought back to life by Cara, Darken Rahl sees the marking on his palm and orders an army of the dead after the key. Richard burns the army and they continue their quest for the Stone of Tears.
