Synopsis

CONCENTRIC CIRCLES - Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) find themselves in college when a promising mathematician is found strangled and stabbed. The detective's investigation uncovers the young woman's turbulent relationship with a professor, but they fall short on evidence that links the crime to the affair. When Assistant District Attorneys McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Carmichael (Angie Harmon) intercede, they become suspicious of two friends of the victim who seem determined to protect each other's stories.
