Synopsis

FAMILY MATTERS -- When a female embryologist is found dead in a fertility clinic storage room, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) search for the killer who has also mysteriously damaged other frozen embryos from a storage freezer -- making the embryos useless. The evidence left behind leads the detectives to believe that the killer was desperate enough to kill anyone who got in the way. Assistant District Attorneys McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Carmichael (Angie Harmon) must figure out how they can convict the young woman's killer without sacrificing their own beliefs.
