JERRY ORBACH JOINS THE CAST -- While Detective Ceretta (Paul Sorvino) recovers from a gunshot wound suffered in the line of duty, and reevaluates his future in law enforcement, Logan (Chris Noth) is partnered with Detective Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach, Dirty Dancing). Logan and Briscoe put their tensions aside to find out if a "self-defense" killing was really just revenge. Later, much to Logan's disappointment, Ceretta announces he's quitting the force.
