Synopsis

MURDER INVESTIGATION UNCOVERS FAMILY SECRETS--When a young man is found murdered on the grounds of a prep school, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jessie L. Martin) identify the body as Scott Wilder, the son of wealthy real estate magnate Peter Wilder (guest star Henry Woronicz). As the detectives question Scott's parents and girlfriend for clues, they are led to a mystery woman (guest star Julianne Nicholson, "The Others") who may have been using Scott to extort money from his father. Blackmail, infidelity, and deceit all come into play as the case moves towards to a surprising confession.
