Kahn's mother, Laoma, comes to visit and while Kahn loves having her, she drives Minh crazy with her constant criticism. Feeling bored and unwanted in her son's home, Laoma begins to bond with Peggy and becomes the Hill's housekeeper, as well as Bill's, much to Hank's discomfort, as his privacy is being invaded.
Laoma begins to treat Bobby better than her own granddaughter, Connie, while Peggy leads a life of leisure - and for a very inexpensive price. Meanwhile, Kahn is upset that his mother is cleaning house for the rednecks, but becomes even more distraught after learning that not only is she cleaning Bill's house, she has begun an affair with him.
Kahn is incensed that she would shame him like this, so he breaks them up by reminding Bill that he wants a family, and with Laoma he will never have kids. However, when a distraught Laoma decides to move into a retirement home, Kahn realizes that her happiness is important to him and helps them reunite.
