Synopsis

Lewis, Neela and Ray treat a police officer shot during a robbery. His 15-year-old son must make a difficult decision on his fathers course of treatment and he turns to Ray for advice. Ray later fails the son and gets an angry earful from Neela. Abby and Dubenko try to help a young girl whose mother doesn't want her to have critical surgery at County. Carter and Wendall have their first date. Pratt is criticized by Chen over a patient's missed injury but he later finds out her father's condition is deteriorating.
