When we last left Paul Young, he was lying smack dab in the middle of Wisteria Lane after getting shot. The neighbors watch as he's loaded into an ambulance. The police detectives on the scene discover the guy has lots of enemies on the lane. That means lots of suspects. But Paul's wife, Beth, has only one: her mama.

Felicia Tilman certainly has motive. After all, Paul got away with killing her sister. But she's genuinely surprised to hear that her nemesis is in the hospital recovering from an assassination attempt. Felicia makes a call to the person she believes may have been behind the shooting: Mike Delfino.

Yes, Mike is back and Susan is thrilled. It's just the boost she needs after learning her injuries from the riot forced doctors to remove a kidney. Susan is advised to go on dialysis, but refuses to entertain such a notion. Her attitude changes after she collapses in front of MJ. We get a little lump in our throats when Susan asks Lynette, Bree and Gaby if they'll be there to help Mike with MJ if something bad happens to her. Of course they will be. Absolutely.

Mike isn't the only person returning to the neighborhood. Orson's back, too. He claims girlfriend Judy kicked him out and he needs a place to stay. The timing couldn't be worse, as Keith is busy moving all of his things into Bree's place. Well, most of his things. His beanbag chair inadvertently got ripped when Bree stuck it with a knife and stuffed it in the trash. Hey, accidents happen. Just ask Keith's shattered lava lamp.

Keith and Orson don't like each other. Some verbal digs lead into an all-out food fight at the dinner table. Thankfully, Bree's coq au vin is always very tender. Otherwise, someone could have been seriously hurt! Later, Bree learns that Orson is the one who left Judy. Why? Well, he's still in love with his ex. He won't give up on her. We're hoping his attitude changes after he sees firsthand how happy Bree is with Keith.

A guilty Gaby takes Juanita shopping for an expensive new doll to make up for the whole "I'm not really your biological mother" fiasco. The plan seems to be working until Juanita catches Gaby gazing at Grace's picture on her cell phone. A therapist says the only way Juanita can heal is if they remove Grace from their lives.

All keepsakes and photos of Grace must be ditched. Gaby doesn't want to do it, so Carlos does it for her. This sends a somewhat despondent Gaby back to the store where she buys a brand new doll. It's not for Juanita though. Gaby tells the saleswoman that this one's for her. Then she cradles the doll like it's a real baby. Uh oh.

Tom is thrilled to learn that Susan isn't going to say anything to Lynette about his past relationship with Renee. Whew! Problem solved, right? Wrong. Renee has a first class case of the guilts. She says, "If I never tell Lynette what happened, then my friendship with her is not real."

During a lunch meeting with a new client, Lynette scores some oatmeal raisin cookies for Renee because she knows how much she loves them. This causes Renee to have a mini-breakdown. She tells her BFF the truth about her past liaison with Tom. Everybody duck!

Surprisingly, Lynette takes the news well. Okay, not really. She's plenty peeved at Renee but believes she may be a little less angry in the very distant future. For now, she doesn't want Tom to know that she knows. Why? Well, judging by the fact that she tricks her hubby into burning his tongue on some piping hot chocolate, we're thinking Lynette will dole out his punishment slowly and methodically over time. Sounds like a plan!

Mike visits Felicia at the prison to assure her that he had nothing to do with the shooting. The investigating police detectives visit Paul at the hospital to ask why he didn't mention his mother-in-law as a potential suspect. That's probably because he had no idea that Beth is Felicia's daughter. Until now.
