The neighborhood has been invaded by the Bicycle Boys, a group of young miscreants who are cutting through the cul-de-sac to get to the new mall. They are more annoying than Tom's new fountain which has Jules wanting to pee constantly during those nights she sleeps with the window open. Anyway, the Bicycle Boys must be stopped. This looks like a job for the King of the Neighborhood. Andy thinks he holds that title. Jules disagrees.
Jules attempts to reason with the Bicycle Boys doesn't fly. She does, however, blame the lads for her theft of Tom's fountain which will soon be filled with wine. But first, Jules must deal with the Bicycle Boys. She sets up a fake policeman with a pumpkin head to scare off the kids. This works well until a bummed out Andy sabotages her creation. He's sulking because he still wants to be king.
Laurie has been Tweeting a soldier in Afghanistan. She's also been sending him naked photos. It's a little something to boost the spirit of one of America's finest black soldier. At least, Laurie is hoping he's black and hot. The fact that she knows very little about the person on the receiving end of her Tweets has her friends fearing the worst.
Laurie truly believes that only good things can come from sending naked pictures to strangers. Her friends soon realize she's right. Wade, the guy she's been Tweeting, really is a hot, black soldiers. Their online exchanges have been helping him through some scary times. Nice.
Since Laurie is obviously an authority on healthy relationships, Jules takes her advice to cheer up Andy by allowing him to do battle with the Bicycle Boys. Mr. Short & Wide is jazzed to do just that. By the way, Short & Wide is Andy's new nickname. Its origin stems from a store he likes at that new mall.
Andy dresses for war by painting his face in full Braveheart fashion. Jules went through a lot of lipstick to get him looking just right. Andy gives a stirring speech that almost certainly infringes on some copyrights. Everyone joins hands as the enemy advances. Then they bail out to the side so the Bicycle Boys can wipe out on the sand trap they planted in the street. Their enemies may have once taken a shortcut to the mall, but they will never take the Cul-De-Sac Crew's FREEDOM!
