It's been a long time since Jules and Ellie have had an "Ellie Day." That's a day when all they do is focus on Ellie. Okay, that one was probably self-explanatory. Anyway, Jules isn't up for it. She's struggling with issues like: What's she doing with her life? Is she going to be alone forever? In other words, the usual.

Ellie has a tennis teacher named Alex who doubles as her fake boyfriend. She's been fake-seeing him for months. Jules catches a glimpse of Alex and decides to crash Ellie's tennis lesson. Soon they are both competing for Alex's attention. These two ladies are in love! And by love, we mean they don't score a single point in the tennis match. That's because Ellie keeps drilling Jules in the small of the back whenever she serves. Ouch!

When Alex asks Jules out to dinner, Ellie storms off the court. Jules thinks this little tiff is all about the cute tennis teacher. It's not. Ellie is upset because Jules has become selfish ever since her divorce. She asked her to have one "Ellie Day" and she totally blew it off. Jules says, "Nobody's ever called me selfish in my entire life." Ellie's response, "That's because you never were before." Ouch again.

Jules stops by later to apologize. She knows it's too late for "Ellie Day." But she brought her laptop to do some online shopping during "Ellie Night." She can browse through all the things she likes and Jules will tell her how great she'd look. That'll work!

Laurie cons Travis into breaking into her ex-boyfriend Dale's house to retrieve some of her stuff. But the things they take don't belong to Laurie. It's all Dale's. Laurie fesses up that she just wants to hurt the guy. Travis convinces her to return the stolen goods. Unfortunately, Dale comes home as they do.

They end up trapped in a closet. Fortunately, Laurie has some granola bars hidden there for just such an emergency. This isn't the first time she's done this. Laurie whines about all the bad decisions she makes. It's true. She makes a bunch of bad choices. But as Travis points out, at least she now feels bad about them. That's progress. By the look on Laurie's face, we can see she's inclined to agree.

Andy and Grayson try to help Bobby deal with his heartbreak over Jules. They engage in a series of thoughtful conversations as they struggle to release their deepest, innermost feelings. Wait a minute! They don't do that at all! They just drink. A lot!

Our boys go on a multi-day bender that would make any Florida spring breaker proud. Remember that alcohol-induced photo shoot starring Jules in Into the Great Wide Open? Well, Bobby, Andy and Grayson now have their own incriminating photo slideshow. It's all set to the raucous sound of Thin Lizzy's The Boys Are Back in Town. Getting Tasered always looks a lot more fun when accompanied by a kickin' guitar track.

Bobby wants to keep partying every night. Grayson and Andy realize their buddy is spiraling out of control. Someone has to talk to him. Andy knows the sobering news should come from him. Remember that thoughtful, feelings-friendly conversation we joked about earlier? Well, Bobby and Andy actually have one.

Andy lays some hard truth on his best bud. When all is said and done, they put down the drinks and head off to the boardwalk. There's a guy there who will draw crazy pictures of them. Because nothing helps mend a broken heart like a caricature of your best friend in a bikini.
