Frank receives an emergency call froÂm the FBI that someone in a dark SUV has purchased ingredients for a homemade bomb and has entered Manhattan, target unknown. Frank oversees the citywide search, Danny works the case profiling potential bombers and Jamie and Renzulli intercept suspicious SUV's. The citizens of NYC are outraged and feel unfairly targeted, stirring up the issue and conflicting points of view on profiling and stop/frisks between Erin, Danny and Frank. Turns out, the most unlikey suspect, Mary Jo Clarkston, a blond woman from Long Island and her child are in the bomb-rigged SUV. She, a recent convert to Islam is seperated from her much less radical husband, and he wants to get his son away from her. Danny and Ava manipulate the bomb-mom to roll down her window and Danny pulls the boy out from the passenger side. He is delivered safely to his father. Mary Jo is arrested and the citizens of NYC are safe. .
