The Bachelor Episode 14.05 Episode 1405

Jake takes the five remaining women to San Francisco, which just happens to be where Ali lives! She shows him around the city and Jake notes how at ease she is on her native turf, but he's got some tough questions about her issues with Vienna. Ali tells him, "I just want you to be happy... but sometimes I don't understand the decisions you make." She claims she's "ready to let go of" her feud with Vienna and he kisses her. "I'm really falling for him and I have to trust him through and through," she says to the camera. They jump into the surf and Ali sums up the date: "I'm feeling really good. I'm so smitten with that boy."

Ali also has to answer to Vienna herself about her behavior at the last rose ceremony, Ali claims that her comments weren't about her, but Vienna -- and we -- clearly heard everything she said!

Vienna and Gia go on a two-on-one date with Jake, but this time no roses are on the line. Whew! Still, it's more than a little awkward, especially for Gia, who feels like a fifth wheel. During her solo time with Jake, though, he tells her, "It's okay to fall (for me.)" Gia needs the encouragement but Vienna certainly doesn't: She takes the opportunity of spending the night in the same hotel as Jake (and Gia) to sneak up to his bedroom with two glasses of wine! Jake is "nearly naked," as he points out and her presence, "definitely gave me dirty thoughts." But he asks her to leave before anything happens and she realizes that maybe there is such a thing as being too forward.

On Jake's day with Tenley, they ride a street car and open up fortune cookies that include messages written by Jake, including one that says, "Kiss me," which Tenley happily does.

Corrie's date with Jake goes well, except when an intimate moment in a rowboat seems to lead to a kiss, she doesn't take the plunge and neither does Jake. They discuss how their relationship has been off to a slower start than the others, but she reassures him that she does "really like him" and wants to stay.

Before we know it, it's time for the next rose ceremony! Jake has only four roses to hand out to the women whose home towns he'll be visiting. He says he's "heartbroken" to be sending one woman home: "I wish I had five roses to hand out," he tells them, before giving roses to everyone but Corrie. We can't say that we're that surprised to see her go, but Corrie can't believe she's the one taking the limo ride to the airport.
