Are You There, Chelsea? Episode 1.05 The Gynecologist

Chelsea's in the market for a new gynecologist and convinces Sloane to give her the number of hers. When she meets the attractive and charming Dr. Thomas, she's instantly smitten and feigns interest in deep-sea fishing to score a date. Dr. Thomas invites her and a friend to join him and his partner at the practice for a night of deep-sea fishing.

Chelsea returns to the bar with news of her date to recruit an accomplice. Nikki jumps at the opportunity to try to land a hot young doctor, while Chelsea convinces Dee Dee to tag along since she's a huge fan of deep-sea fishing.

Later on the boat, things seem to be going great. Chelsea and Dr. Thomas are really hitting it off, while Nikki is pulling out all the stops Dr. Thomas' partner. Meanwhile, the boat captain is completely smitten with Dee Dee as she gets her hands dirty gutting and cleaning fish.

Meanwhile, Rick and Todd agree to install a bookcase for Chelsea while she and girls are away. But when they leave, the guys are overcome by the urge to snoop and find any dirty secrets Chelsea may be hiding. They finally find a DVD that they're lead to believe is Chelsea's home sex tape, but it turns out to be a decoy; it's actually video of a water buffalo giving birth.

Chelsea and Nikki grow increasingly worried when the guys seem to be pretty slow to make a move. Meanwhile, inside the boat, the doctors share a kiss; apparently, they're partners in more than one respect. They sneak away to the cabin for a little bit of alone time.

Imagine Chelsea's surprise when she goes looking for Dr. Thomas and finds the two getting it on! The guys were sure she understood that they were gay... in fact, Dr. Thomas thought she and Nikki were lesbians. What straight women enjoy deep-sea fishing?

Later, Chelsea comments that she has such bad luck with men... how did she not figure this one out? Sloane points out that the guy she should be with, Rick, is right under her nose. Despite this, Chelsea insists that she's not ready to settle down... it's all about playing the field!
