Synopsis

When Nicholas asks Caroline to have dinner with her, she tells him that she'll only go if he leaves his wife. Nicholas agrees to her terms, and tells Caroline that he'll get a divorce to be with her. Not wanting to break up a marriage over a man she's still not sure about, Caroline rushes to Nicholas' apartment to tell her to slow things down. When his wife shows up unexpectedly, Max and Caroline have to escape out his window in a hailstorm. Realizing that Nicholas is not worth dying for, she ends it for good.
