Daniel Craig to Replace Sir David Attenborough as Nature Host
Movie

Daniel Craig has been signed up to replace famed broadcaster Sir David Attenborough as the voice of Britain's BBC nature documentaries.

AceShowbiz - The James Bond star Daniel Craig will narrate a number of new film features intended for international audiences and cinema-viewing, including "One Life", which uses footage from Sir David Attenborough's acclaimed Life TV series which he has hosted since 1979.

Daniel Craig admits he feels "very proud" to be following in the footsteps of Attenborough, brother of Oscar-winning actor Richard Attenborough.

He says, "The BBC Natural History Unit have proven, year after year, that their documentary skills are second to none. For the filmmakers who spend their entire lives recording beautiful images of dwindling wildlife, I have only a sense of awe and a deep rooted respect."

The renowned nature host, who will turn 85 next month, is expected to return to TV with his last large-scale project, "Frozen Planet", later this year.
