AceShowbiz - Rapper The Game has assured fans he's alive and well following sick reports he was gunned down at the weekend in a comical tweet from beyond the grave. The "Dreams" hitmaker, real name Jayceon Taylor, was alleged to have been fatally shot in the head at Los Angeles' Beverly Center shopping mall on Sunday night, June 20.
But The Game has reached out to fans via his Twitter to prove he's well. In a series of tweets posted on Monday morning, June 21, the star reveals he's living and breathing in Sacramento, California.
He writes, "Hello Sacramento. Who ever started da rumor dat I was dead is funny as hell. If u gone spread rumors, b more creative (sic)." He goes on to joke about the situation: "As a matter of fact, I am dead. I'm the 1st n**ga to #graveTweet!!! ...now tweetin from the grave (sic)... I tell you one thing though, you can't really get good (cell phone) reception down here in this coffin..."
And The Game has even set a date for his 'funeral' - instructing fans to go out and buy his new CD "The R.E.D. Album" when it's released in U.S. stores in August . He adds, "My funeral is 8-24-10 @ da nearest Best Buy. The obituary is $9.99 located (at) da front of da store (sic)."
