AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa is "terrified" of becoming a mother - because she fears having children will "ruin" her "creativity". The "Poker Face" star, who is currently single, admits she does want to settle down with a man and start a family one day, but she's adamant her personal life will always come second to her career.

And GaGa admits she's secretly scared that if she does decide to have a baby, it will ruin her ability to write songs and perform. She tells U.S. talk show host Larry King, "Yes, some day (I want to have children). Although my womb is not yet beckoning for a child. I'm very far away from that day. I'm also terrified it will ruin my creativity."

GaGa also said she felt honored to see soldiers serving in Afghanistan parodying her "Telephone" video - insisting the troops were brave to shed their macho image by dressing up and mimicking her dance moves. The video, titled Telephone The Afghanistan Re-Make, was shot by a group of U.S. soldiers stationed at a military base in the south-west of the country and has spread across the internet since it emerged in late April.

GaGa was delighted to see the all-male cast from the 82nd Airborne Division recreating her promo, but admits she refused to post the clip on her Twitter.com page because she didn't want to get the men in trouble with their superiors. She said, "It's actually very interesting that you brought up the soldiers in Afghanistan, because I specifically didn't post that one when I saw it. I wanted to put that on my Twitter, but I got nervous about posting it on my Twitter, because I was not sure how it would be received by the other soldiers, or the other members of the Army or the administration."

"So I didn't post it... It's no secret that I don't think that anyone should have to hide who they are, let alone be discriminated against. We can all fight equally. I bring that up specifically because it makes me sad that I saw that video. And I thought it was so great. And I was so excited that over in Afghanistan they're fighting every day for us, and they're protecting us, and doing so much. And they were just having a little down time."

Furthermore, GaGa told Larry that she is flattered being compared to Madonna. "We're compared to each other, whether we're blonde, brunette, black, white, straight, gay. But on another level, it's kind of funny, because my mother actually looks sort of like Madonna. And the older I've gotten, I look more and more like my mother. So sometimes I just want to say, it's not my fault that I look like her."
