AceShowbiz - Jennifer Love Hewitt chose to leave the dedication to her ex-boyfriend Jamie Kennedy in her new love guide - because he taught her so much about romance. The actress split up with Kennedy as the book, "The Day I Shot Cupid", was going to print and publishers asked her if they should remove his name from the dedication.
She says, "I had the opportunity to change it and chose not to because I meant the things that I said in the book and he really did teach me a lot and I'm very grateful to him for that."
The actress adds, "We're kind of opposites - I'm like this gushy romantic and he's sort of a realist, so he really taught me how to look at the reality of love, whereas maybe I had my head in the clouds before... He taught me a lot about men and what they think."
