Dr. Conrad Murray is free after posting a $75,000 bail and is said to return to his work in a few days although judge doesn't allow him to use or prescribe strong sedatives for the foreseeable future.

AceShowbiz - Dr. Conrad Murray is set to return to work just days after he was charged over the death of Michael Jackson as Californian officials seek to ban the physician from practicing medicine. The King of Pop's personal doctor is free on $75,000 bail after pleaded not guilty to a count of involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles on Monday, February 8.

Judge Keith Schwartz told Murray he was not allowed to use or prescribe strong sedatives for the foreseeable future after he was accused of administering the powerful anesthetic Propofol which killed Jackson. Representatives for the Medical Board of California filed papers to have Murray's medical license revoked on the same day as the doctor's arraignment, claiming he showed "utter disregard for the care and well-being of the persons entrusted to his care".

But the medic is refusing to let his legal troubles get in the way of business at his surgery in Texas and will head back into the office later this week. His spokeswoman Miranda Sevcik tells RadarOnline.com, "Dr. Murray is still in L.A. He is planning to leave to go back to work in a few days."

Murray is due to return to court on April 5, when a date for the preliminary hearing will be set.
