AceShowbiz - The global premiere of Heart of the Beast was held at the FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, Tennessee, bringing together the film's cast, filmmakers and a slate of musical performers ahead of its theatrical release.

Brad Pitt, who stars in and produces the film, was joined at the outdoor event by his co-stars J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe, along with director and producer David Ayer. The evening also featured musical performances by Blake Whiten, Jamey Johnson and Lily Meola.

In addition to the cast, the premiere drew a long list of the film's creative team. Writer and executive producer Cameron Alexander attended, as did producers Olivia Hamilton and Marty Bowen. Executive producers Scott Lumpkin and Pete Chiappetta were also on hand, alongside animal coordinator Andrew Simpson, production designer Greg Berry and director of photography Mauro Fiore.

Further executive producers on the project include Damien Chazelle, Chris Long, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Sophie Cassidy and Zack Conroy.

Heart of the Beast is presented by Paramount Pictures in association with Domain Entertainment and Gulfstream Pictures, and is a Wild Chickens / Temple Hill / Kino World production. Ayer directs from a screenplay by Alexander, with Hamilton, Bowen, Ayer and Pitt serving as producers.

The film follows Special Forces officer James Belmont, played by Pitt, and his combat dog, Odin, after a harrowing plane crash leaves them stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements. The story is described as an intense adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.

Heart of the Beast is rated PG-13 for violence, peril, bloody and injury images, and some language. The film is set to open in theaters on September 25, 2026.
