Following the album’s release, The Strokes will embark on their Reality Awaits 2026 tour, which begins on June 12 at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee and concludes September 20 at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in New Jersey. The tour is extensive, covering North America before moving on to the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, South America, and Japan.

The band’s tour schedule includes multiple shows at renowned venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, London’s The O2, Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre, Paris’ Accor Arena, and Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. They will be supported by various acts including Thundercat, Cage the Elephant, Hamilton Leithauser, Fat White Family, The Garden, Alex Cameron, Geordie Greep, Promiseland, and ÖLÜM.

The Strokes’ performance on The Late Show follows the release of their first single from the new album, “Going Shopping.” That song was recorded in Costa Rica with acclaimed producer Rick Rubin and completed in studios worldwide.

Stephen Colbert is in the final phase of hosting The Late Show, which CBS is ending for financial reasons. The final episodes feature an impressive lineup of guests including Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, former President Barack Obama, Tom Hanks, and a special late-night hosts reunion with Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver.
