AceShowbiz - The upcoming Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California, is set to mark a significant moment for Pearl Jam with their first scheduled concert since drummer Matt Cameron left the band last year. The event, celebrating Ohana’s 10-year anniversary, will run from September 25 through September 27 and includes a diverse lineup featuring Eddie Vedder & Friends, Tyler Childers, Alabama Shakes, Fontaines D.C., Pixies, Rilo Kiley, Billy Idol, Jon Batiste, and Maná.

Tickets for the festival are currently available for pre-sale to members of the Ten Club, with a general pre-sale opening on May 14.

Matt Cameron departed from Pearl Jam amicably in July 2025, concluding a 27-year tenure with the band. In a heartfelt statement, he expressed gratitude toward his bandmates and fans worldwide, acknowledging the friendships, artistic experiences, and challenges encountered during his time with the group. He also thanked the crew and staff, calling his journey “incredible” and hinting at future endeavors.

Last month, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready revealed in an interview with American Songwriter that the band had not yet finalized a replacement drummer. He explained that the group was still in discussions and taking their time to decide on the best path forward. According to McCready, while their decision-making process is slow, the band is prepared to act quickly once a choice is made.

It remains uncertain whether Pearl Jam will announce a new drummer before the festival or perform with a temporary substitute at Ohana. In previous instances, such as when Cameron contracted COVID-19 in 2022, the band enlisted original drummer Dave Krusen, multi-instrumentalist John Klinghoffer, and Seattle musician Richard Stuverud to fill in.
