AceShowbiz - Dave Coulier shared a health update on Instagram, addressing the noticeable changes in his appearance and voice following treatment for cancer. The actor and comedian confirmed that fans' observations were accurate, attributing the differences to "extensive radiation" therapy he underwent for carcinoma in his throat.
Coulier explained that this treatment made it impossible for him to eat solid foods for several months, resulting in a significant weight loss of 45 pounds. He also mentioned that the radiation affected his voice, causing it to sound different than before, which aligns with what followers have noticed.
In 2024, Coulier was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. After undergoing treatment, he was declared cancer-free within five months. However, later in the year, he received a diagnosis of a type of head and neck cancer located at the base of his tongue. By February, he reported that this cancer was in remission.
Despite the health challenges, Coulier remains optimistic, noting that both his carcinoma and lymphoma are highly treatable and that the prognosis for each condition is positive. He also shared a hopeful sign of recovery, mentioning that "my hair is kind of growing back."
The actor’s candid update reassures fans that while his physical changes are evident, they are a result of the necessary medical treatments, and his outlook remains encouraging as he continues his recovery journey.
