Deadline has confirmed that Zatima season 4B will premiere on May 12 with a special two-episode launch. Following that, new episodes will be released weekly every Tuesday, culminating in the season finale on July 7.

The first segment of season four concluded in October 2025 with a tense cliffhanger: Fatima experiences a health scare and is rushed to the hospital. This episode highlighted the mounting stress Fatima faces during her pregnancy, compounded by Leslie’s erratic behavior, which adds significant turmoil to her life. When the series returns in May, viewers will see Fatima and Zac’s relationship tested by fresh challenges as they navigate pivotal milestones together.

These obstacles prompt the couple, along with those closest to them, to reassess their truths and loyalties, potentially leading to long-lasting implications for everyone involved. The two-part premiere episode includes dramatic events such as a fire involving Connie, which prompts Zac to step up and help, while Fatima attends a crucial custody hearing. Paramount+ has also unveiled seven new images from the upcoming episodes, offering fans a first look at the intense moments ahead. These include shots of Zac and Fatima looking deeply concerned, Fatima pointing a gun at someone, and an emotional scene of Fatima comforting Connie in the courtroom during her custody battle. One particularly striking image shows a group hug in the courtroom between Nathan, Tony, Zac, Fatima, and Connie, though it remains unclear whether this is in response to favorable news from the judge. Another photo captures Angela’s face displaying shock or disgust, adding intrigue to her storyline.

Zatima originally premiered in 2022 on BET+ as a spinoff of Tyler Perry’s other hit series Sistas, which recently wrapped up its 11th season. While Sistas centers on a close-knit group of single women balancing their careers and complicated love lives, Zatima hones in on the lives of two of its beloved characters, Zac Taylor and Fatima Wilson-Taylor, portrayed by Devale Ellis and Crystal Renee Hayslett respectively. Both actors previously appeared on Sistas before headlining this spinoff. Nzinga Imani and Trinity Whiteside, also from Sistas, have made appearances in Zatima as well.

The show’s ensemble cast is rounded out by Remington Hoffman, Cameron Fuller, Jasmin Brown, Guyviaud Joseph, Danielle LaRoach, Laila Odom, Ameer Baraka, and Lindsay Diann.
