Bosslady Foods, the company behind the ice cream brand, has engaged in a federal lawsuit against Edible Arrangements over trademark rights concerning the word “Swizzle.” The suit disputes Edible Arrangements’ claim to exclusive rights for their Tropical Sherbet Swizzle flavor, alleging false statements were made to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Despite these hurdles, the Venice Beach storefront is set to operate through October, serving as a key physical hub for the brand and expanding Snoop Dogg’s footprint in both food and lifestyle markets.
