AceShowbiz - Plans for a highly anticipated reunion tour by the iconic nineties boyband NSYNC have reportedly fallen through due to disagreements among the members regarding the details of their 30th anniversary celebration.

Initially, it was believed that Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick were moving forward with efforts to reunite the band for a special tour in 2026, marking three decades since their formation. However, these plans notably excluded Justin Timberlake. Negotiations had been underway with tour promoters, but recent reports indicate that the project has been abandoned as the members struggled to reach a consensus.

Sources reveal that enthusiasm for the reunion varied significantly among the group. In the docuseries Boy Band Confidential, Joey Fatone candidly addressed the uncertainty, stating, "People are always asking, 'Is the group getting together? Is anything going to happen? Do I see anything in the near future?'"

Joey admitted that while he personally was open to the idea, others in the group appeared hesitant. He explained, "No, I don't. Would I want to do it? Yes. Some of the other guys, sure. Some of the other guys, maybe not." He also highlighted that concerns about family commitments, such as leaving young children behind, influenced some members’ reluctance. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake had only recently completed his own tour, adding another layer of complexity to the discussions.

According to Joey Fatone, the reunion’s progress was hindered by differing levels of readiness among the bandmates. He remarked, "I'll be honest, I always say, 'Hey, why not?' because I think I'm ready. I don't think everybody else is ready yet."

Adding to the challenges facing the reunion was Justin Timberlake’s recent legal troubles. During his world tour in 2024, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated, an incident that initially was kept under wraps but came to public attention when police footage was released in March.

Fans hoping to see the band perform again may need to wait longer, as the prospects for the 30th anniversary tour presently remain uncertain.
