Dune: Prophecy serves as a prequel to the blockbuster space opera film franchise directed by Denis Villeneuve, including Dune, Dune: Part Two, and the forthcoming Dune: Part Three, the latter scheduled for theatrical release on December 18. Based on Frank Herbert’s seminal science fiction novels, the film series stars Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, a young nobleman who becomes a revolutionary leader on the desert planet Arrakis.
