Ella Langley’s dominance is reinforced by her streaming and airplay numbers for the tracking week of February 27 to March 5. "Choosin' Texas" garnered 21.9 million official U.S. streams, 44.1 million in radio airplay audience, and 6,000 copies sold. Meanwhile, "Be Her," which debuted three weeks ago at No. 3, accumulated 11.8 million streams, a radio reach of 29.2 million, and 2,000 sold, marking Langley’s seventh top 10 hit on Hot Country Songs. Both tracks appear on her upcoming second LP, Dandelion, set for release on April 10.

Choosin' Texas has already broken several records. In February, it became the first song to simultaneously top Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs, and the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 charts. The song also returned to No. 1 on the Hot 100 when Megan Moroney debuted at No. 1 on Top Country Albums with Cloud 9, marking the first time two women primarily recording country music have led the charts in the same week.

On Country Airplay, "Choosin' Texas" made history by reclaiming the No. 1 spot after a three-week absence, the longest gap before returning to the top since the chart’s inception in 1990.

By holding both the No. 1 and No. 2 positions on Hot Country Songs, Ella Langley becomes only the third woman to do so, joining Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. Beyoncé achieved this in April 2024 during the debut chart week for her album Cowboy Carter, with "Texas Hold ’Em" at No. 1 and "II Most Wanted," featuring Miley Cyrus, debuting at No. 2. Taylor Swift reached the feat in October 2012 during her Red album rollout when "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was No. 1 and the title track debuted at No. 2.

Overall, Langley is the ninth artist to simultaneously control the top two spots on the Hot Country Songs chart. The exclusive list includes solo male artists Buck Owens, Willie Nelson, Luke Bryan, and Morgan Wallen, as well as duos Florida Georgia Line and Dan + Shay. Of the 64 chart weeks when an act has held Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously, Wallen accounts for the majority with 37 weeks.

Before streaming reshaped music consumption in 2012, this accomplishment was rare, occurring only five weeks: twice by Owens in 1964 with "Together Again" and "My Heart Skips a Beat," and during Willie Nelson’s early-1980s run with "Always on My Mind" and "Just to Satisfy You" (with Waylon Jennings).
