AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez appeared on her husband’s new podcast, Friends Keep Secrets, hosted by Benny Blanco and Dave "Lil Dicky" Burd, on Tuesday, March 3. During the episode, the couple discussed their wedding, mental health, and future plans, while sharing some lighthearted and intimate moments.
Earlier, listeners had been buzzing about the debut episode of Friends Keep Secrets, which aired recently and featured Blanco prominently displaying his feet covered in dirt. The incident occurred as Blanco propped his soles up on the couch at Burd’s home, where the podcast is recorded, unintentionally exposing his dusty feet to viewers.
The producer later explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that the dirt came from dust on the set caused by moving equipment, so it was not entirely his fault. Nonetheless, the internet reaction was largely negative toward the dirty foot display.
In a surprising twist, Selena Gomez seemed to embrace the moment during her podcast appearance. While chatting with the hosts, she unexpectedly leaned over and kissed Blanco’s foot—this time clean—while his feet rested on the coffee table in front of them. This spontaneous act brought smiles and laughter to the group.
During the playful exchange, Gomez and Blanco also joked about the moment. After the kiss, Gomez tapped Blanco on the leg and said, “don’t make it a moment.” Blanco responded warmly, “Oh no, I liked it. It made me feel good. I love you so much.”
The podcast episode also featured a candid conversation with co-host Kristin Batalucco, Burd’s wife, about parenting topics such as the pros and cons of using toddler leashes. The intimate setting allowed the couple to share genuine and humorous insights into their lives.
Beyond the toe-kissing and parenting talk, Gomez opened up about her close friendship with pop superstar Taylor Swift. She revealed that Swift’s song “Dorothea” from the album Evermore was inspired by her. Gomez shared that Taylor had also written an unreleased song called “Family” about their friendship, which reflects their support for each other's dreams.
Gomez explained, “There’s this song Taylor wrote about us, and it was called ‘Family.’ It was basically saying, ‘You have these amazing dreams, you want to be in movies — like, in every crowd I still see you.’ And then her part was, ‘You believe in my stupid dreams, like playing stadiums.’ Now when I listen to that song, both of those things have happened for us. And that’s really sweet, because back then, she was just, like, ‘I wrote this song about us. It was just our story, kind of.’ And it was the sweetest thing.”
The episode gave fans a unique glimpse into the couple’s dynamic, combining humor, affection, and heartfelt moments. The foot kiss, in particular, quickly became a memorable and talked-about highlight of the show.
Listeners can watch the toe-kissing moment and hear more from Gomez and Blanco on the latest episode of Friends Keep Secrets, which continues to attract attention for its candid and entertaining content.
