AceShowbiz - Jill Scott has officially announced a comprehensive 36-date world tour titled To Whom This May Concern, which is scheduled to begin this summer.
The acclaimed R&B artist is collaborating with Live Nation Urban for this global tour, which celebrates her sixth studio album released in February. The tour will kick off at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville before journeying across the United States with key performances at venues such as the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles and the Kings Theatre in New York City. Following the U.S. leg, which concludes in Dallas on September 3, the tour will continue internationally with dates in Europe, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. The final stop is set for November 11 at Cape Town’s GrandWest Arena.
Fans will have early access to tickets through a presale beginning March 10 at 10 a.m. local time on Jill Scott’s official website. General ticket sales will open the following day, March 11, at 10 a.m. local time.
The To Whom This May Concern album marked Scott’s first release in over ten years and features collaborations with several notable artists including Ab-Soul, J.I.D., Tierra Whack, and Too Short. The project also enlisted contributions from a diverse group of producers and musicians such as DJ Premier, Adam Blackstone, Om'Mas Keith, Camper, Andre Harris, Trombone Shorty, Seige Montracity, Eric Wortham, DW Wright, and VT Tolan.
