AceShowbiz - Jill Scott's first studio album in over a decade, To Whom This May Concern, has made a strong debut across multiple Billboard charts dated February 28.
The album arrived in the top 10 on seven different charts. It debuted at No. 7 on the Top Album Sales chart, which measures pure album sales. The set also entered at No. 4 on Top R&B Albums, No. 6 on both Independent Albums and Vinyl Albums, No. 6 on Indie Store Album Sales, No. 7 on Top Current Album Sales, and No. 10 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
This marks Jill Scott's fifth top 10 album on the Top Album Sales chart and her ninth on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Her last studio album, Woman, was released in 2015.
On the Top Album Sales chart, Scott's latest was one of three new entries in the top 10. It was joined by the Wuthering Heights soundtrack by Charli xcx at No. 3 and Brent Faiyaz's Icon at No. 5.
The top of the Top Album Sales chart saw movement from other artists. Bad Bunny's DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS rose to No. 1, while ATEEZ's GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4 fell to No. 2. Other notable chart activity included climbs from Olivia Dean, ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, Taylor Swift, and the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack.
