AceShowbiz - Gerry Turner has shared a major life update, revealing he and fiancée Lana Sutton have purchased a new home together. The Golden Bachelor star announced the news on social media, calling it "one of the very best" days after an "arduous journey."
Gerry Turner provided details on the nearly $1 million property to TMZ. The two-story home spans 4,455 square feet and features five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The outlet reports the house includes a fireplace, a massive game room, and a large bathroom in the primary bedroom. Gerry Turner confirmed the home is owned 50/50 with his fiancée.
This purchase follows a period of significant change for the reality TV star. Gerry Turner was the first senior lead on The Golden Bachelor, ultimately proposing to Theresa Nist. Their televised marriage ended just three months later. In his 2025 memoir, he detailed the split, placing much of the blame on Theresa Nist and citing his cancer diagnosis as a point of contention.
He was diagnosed with Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, a blood cancer, in 2024. While the cancer is incurable, Gerry Turner has stated he is doing well. He became engaged to Lana Sutton in October 2025 after a few months of dating and sold his lake house in December.
While many fans congratulated him on the new home, including former contestants Joan Vassos and Susan Noles, the social media announcement also drew criticism. Some commenters referenced his past comments about Theresa Nist's spending, with one writing, "How ironic. Gerry complained about Theresa spending money on smoothies and look at his expensive car and house." Others warned Lana Sutton or expressed support for his ex-wife.
In his interview with TMZ, Gerry Turner also offered a wedding update, stating he plans to marry Lana Sutton soon but did not provide specific details.
