AceShowbiz - Lauryn Hill captivated the audience at the 68th GRAMMY Awards, held on February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Donning a stunning black gown, she celebrated the legacy of two R&B legends who left us in 2025.
Following a tribute by Post Malone & Friends to Ozzy Osbourne, Lauryn Hill took the stage to perform a heartfelt medley. She began her homage with the duet “Nothing Even Matters,” featuring the talented D’Angelo. The performance continued to shine as Lucky Daye joined her for “Brown Sugar,” while Raphael Saadiq and Anthony Hamilton delivered a mesmerizing rendition of “Lady.” Leon Thomas followed with “Devils Pie,” and Hamilton returned for “Another Life.” Next, Bilal performed “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” before Jon Batiste took to the keys for “Africa.”
Continuing her tribute, Hill moved on to honor the legendary Roberta Flack. Batiste remained on stage to perform “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” and Leon Bridges, alongside Alexia Jayy, sang “Compared to What.” The soulful duo of Lalah Hathaway and October London graced the stage with “Closer I Get to You,” while John Legend and Chaka Khan delivered a powerful version of “Where Is the Love.”
To conclude the electrifying set, Lauryn Hill performed “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and joined fellow Fugee Wyclef Jean for a surprise rendition of “Killing Me Softly With His Song.” As Wyclef walked towards the stage with his electric guitar, the crowd erupted in applause, reminiscing about their Grammy-winning album, The Score, which catapulted Hill into stardom in 1996.
The trio of Hill, Flack, and D’Angelo collectively boasts an impressive 47 Grammy nominations and 16 wins, showcasing their undeniable impact on the music industry.
