By promoting from within, BBC Studios aims to ensure that Lookout Point not only maintains its current success but accelerates under Howell’s guidance.

As the co-founder and co-CEO of House Productions, alongside Tessa Ross, Howell has played a pivotal role in producing a range of distinctive and award-winning projects. She plans to bring her existing projects from House Productions to Lookout Point, merging them with the company’s already vibrant production slate. This strategy is expected to create a powerhouse in drama production, leveraging Howell’s proven track record in both domestic and international markets to propel Lookout Point into continued commercial and critical success.

Tessa Ross will remain the sole CEO of House Productions, further developing the company's film and television projects into the future. Established in 2016, House Productions has successfully delivered numerous notable projects, including The Iron Claw, Bird, and the anticipated Oscar and BAFTA contender Conclave. Other significant productions include the BAFTA-winning Sherwood, the Emmy-nominated Brexit: The Uncivil War, The Good Mothers, Life After Life, and the upcoming Mint. Since 2021, BBC Studios has supported House Productions as part of its label roster.

Lookout Point has garnered acclaim for its ambitious programming, including hits like Happy Valley, Gentleman Jack, A Suitable Boy, and the highly awaited Pride and Prejudice for Netflix. Louise Mutter will continue her role as Managing Director of Lookout Point, collaborating closely with Howell in this new leadership structure.
