AceShowbiz - Get ready to see more of Lindsay Lohan! While gearing up for the release of her "Freaky Friday" sequel, the 38-year-old star has booked her first major TV role: "Count My Lies", a drama series based on Sophie Stava's novel of the same name.

The Hulu show is being developed by "This Is Us" co-showrunners and "How I Met Your Father" co-creators Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. For this project, LiLo is not only taking on a leading role but also serving as an executive producer.

According to an official logline, the series follows Sloane Caraway, a "compulsive liar" who "fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet and Jay Lockhart."

It appears she's found her dream job, but "little does Sloane know, she's just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode - with potentially catastrophic consequences for all."

In addition to her new TV venture, Lohan is also set to return to her role as Anna in the much-anticipated sequel, "Freakier Friday", alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. The follow-up to the original 2003 hit "Freaky Friday" began production in June 2024 and will premiere in theaters in August.

In a conversation with Nightline, Lohan discussed her excitement about returning to Walt Disney Studios over 20 years after filming the original movie. "For me, it was when I went on to the Disney lot," she smiled.

"And being back on the Disney lot, because that's not just Freaky Friday. For me, that's The Parent Trap. That's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. That's Herbie. So many moments for me."

The star also teased that the sequel will be "much freakier than you would expect," setting the stage for what promises to be an entertaining and nostalgia-filled experience for fans of the original film.

Though separated by two decades, Lohan and Curtis have maintained a close relationship over the years. "Jamie and I have stayed in touch over the years," Lohan shared.

"So it's kind of, you know, they always say, like, when you have a best friend or someone who you are really close with, if you cannot see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it's like you never separated."
